Monday October 19…a perfect Spring morning…75 members of Alchemy Chorus celebrated with a morning of singing in the drawing room of Government House. ‘G-G Sam’ greeted each of us at the front door, donned a gold scarf (asked if she should change into a white shirt…no, not necessary Sam), and there were songs and conversations, laughter and a big morning tea. We felt very much at home. It was a grand way to celebrate our 10^th birthday!

13 October…it was lots of fun and lunch was terrific.

Term 3 passed with laughter and tears but there was always music and a cuppa to share on Thursdays. The film crew came and captured some sartorial brightness (for our 10-year-story project).

Term 4 dates to mark:

• Tuesday 13 October – Parliament House
• Thursday 15 October – first day back
• Monday 19 October – Government House

and we’ll fit in a 10th birthday cake morning on 22 October.
