This month we will take 5-10 minutes at the beginning of our usual program to share a new initiative we have been working on: a suite of online creative workshops titled, Making It: Art and Dementia Online Creative Workshops.
Making It is a free online resource that allows participants to engage in an Art and Dementia program at their own pace, enjoying a self-directed experience with the assistance of images of works of art, video demonstrations for artmaking, and tips for engaging participants of all abilities.
The resource is currently in its testing phase, and we are seeking feedback from people either with lived experience of, or who are supporting those living with dementia.
We look forward to sharing this exciting new project with you, before returning to our regular online program of discussion and artmaking.
Please remember, bookings are essential. Once you have booked, you will receive the Zoom link.
